There are no words to express the emotions that we are all overcome with, right now. Joey is awake!!! He is breathing on his own and has been extubated!!! He has talked with a few family members and his best friends, Dan and Sergio.
We will continue to keep you updated on Joey's recovery, but wanted to post the good news immediately. Thank you for all your prayers and support. Please keep it coming!!!!

ReplyDeleteOh my Joe Bob! I had the best day today. I got to see your beautiful eyes, see you shineing smile, hear your contagious laugh, and hear your wonderful voice today. I was worried that I wouldn't get the chance to do that again. But you fought and fought and pulled yourself through. You are an amazing person. Your independence was liberating today. To see how you wanted to do things for yourself, gave me such a great feeling. You are one special person! I look forward to ending more time with you. I love you so much.
