Hold On Joey

Joey is now in surgery. The doctors will be amputating his right leg. He has a team of doctors that will be present throughout the entire surgery. We are lucky to have such a good team of doctors. The doctors wanted Joey's potassium level down to a five before going forward. His levels did come down some, but didn't reach the five level before doctors decided they couldn't wait any longer. The doctors did take in the dialysis machine, which he will be on the entire time. The dialysis machine will continue to bring down his postassium levels during surgery.

Joey is a fighter, and he is fighting now more than ever. He has his strong heart, and he has all his family and friends standing right behind him, encouraging him on.

Joey's friends brought in a huge card and balloons. Joey's Aunt Crystal, lovingly read everyone's comments to Joey. Everyone was touched, and I know Joey heard every word.

We all love you so much Joey! Hang tough, and fight with everything you have! We all love you so much! We are all here waiting, and will be here for you now and and when you get out of surgery.
