Joey is doing awesome! He has been awake and talking with a few family and friends most of the day. He is still just as sweet as he was, and hasn't lost his sense of humor. We love him so much! He was able to get his feeding tube out today, and even enjoy a Pepsi. He is still very tired and needs a lot of rest to recover.
We will keep updating his blog, and let friends know when Joey feels like visitors.
Thank you so much for all your comments, support, and prayers!

YOUR DOING AWESOME JOEY KEEP IT UP LOVE YOU
ReplyDeleteHi Joey! I know you have been using the computer and have read your blog. I can not even tell you how wonderful it was last night to talk to you. You are a miracle. Even with all you are going through you asked how my son was doing. You have the most amazing heart. It is so hard to be back in Utah and not there to help you through like I would like to be. My mind keeps going back to when you came to help me and my family in my time of need with Kalissa. Words will never be able to describe the love I felt the second time you came down as I opened the door about 5:00 in the morning at Primary Childrens and you and Tommie were standing there. I know things didn't turn out well that day but it meant the world to me. I love you so much. Keep fighting and never forget how much you are loved. Thank you for the gift you gave me yesterday. The gift of hearing your voice and having you say you loved me. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. We will be there to see you in a few weeks when you can handle seeing my crazy energetic boys and my darling daughters who can't wait to tease you and give you loves. I also promised you we would listen to TOOL together. Apparently it involves alot of screaming? I would do anything for you.
ReplyDeleteI am so pleased to hear that Joey is in good spirits! That is what we all have been praying for. I'm sure it must be difficult and it will still be a long road ahead. How is Joey dealing with the loss of his leg? We will continue to keep praying for you Joey! Joel and I can't wait to come visit you! We love you!
