Joey was rushed back to surgery at 3:00AM this morning. The end of his amputation was bleeding too much. He was given over two liters of blood, and is receiving one more now. The doctors went in and repaired the areas that were bleeding, and believe that they have stopped the bleeding.
Joey is out of surgery now. His potassium levels are elevated, but he will be going through a round of dialysis this morning, which should bring these levels back down. Doctors are monitoring him closely.
Joey was sedated during surgery, and will be during dialysis, so it will take longer today for the sedatives to wear off. More than likely, Joey won't be waking, until sometime tonight.
Keep fighting Joey!! We love you so much!! You are so strong!!! Keep fighting!!

I love you Joey! Mitchell and I said a prayer for you today. Mitchell misses you and wants to see your shining face soon! As well as Nate and I. You are strong and will fight we all know that. Sometimes it just helps to be reminded. I love you so much.

You all must be so weary. I'm sorry! I am praying for all of you constantly and will continue to do so. Things will get better soon. Joey, good job! You are such a fighter and so strong. Keep going! Your family needs and loves you so much! You are an inspiration. I love you!
